Shaq’s Bourbon Pecan Sticky Buns

Shaq's Bourbon Pecan Sticky Buns, Prepared by Shaquille O'Neal's Personal Chef Alex Conant. Serve these finger-suckin' scrumptious buns warm.

The Dough
 1 cup Warm Milk
 1.25 oz Active Dry Yeast
 0.50 cup Sugar
 6 tbsp Unsalted Butter
 1 Egg
 2 Egg Yolks
 1 tsp Vanilla
 4 cups All Purpose Flour
The Topping
 ¾ cup Light Broun Sugar
 ½ cup Unsalted Butter
 ¼ cup Honey
 1.50 cups Chopped Pecans
 1 oz Bourbon
 1 oz Shot of Bourbon for the Chef
The Filling
 ½ cup Light Brown Sugar
 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter

-Once the dough is proofed to workable consistency….
-mix all dry ingredients and nuts to coat dough


- cut dough into rows
-roll each row into shape


-Bake @ 350 for 27 min


Light one “shot” and let “burn off
-add what’s left to the icing & mix

Add icing to cinnamon rolls once rested out of oven
